Communications APIs are a set of APIs that enable developers to integrate communication features (both real-time and not) such as voice, video, and messaging capabilities to applications.

Communication Platform as a Service (CPaaS) is a cloud-based platform that enables developers to add real-time communication features to their applications without needing to build backend infrastructure and interfaces. CPaaS providers offer APIs and SDKs that allow developers to integrate voice, video, messaging, mobile network features, and other communication capabilities into their applications.
